Ms. Kirstin "Coach K"

Founder, Artistic Director

Ms. Kirstin is the Founder and Artistic Director of Mighty Kids Creative Arts, a creative arts program dedicated to helping children build confidence, creativity, and communication skills through movement, art, and expressive voice. Born and raised in Spring, TX with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, dance instruction, and youth development, Ms. Kirstin has worked with children from infancy through high-school age in schools, studios, and community-based programs throughout Texas. She is the former Owner and Artistic Director of Spring Academy of Dance (formerly known as Red Satin Dance Productions), where she led curriculum development, choreography, recital production, and after-school enrichment programs for many students through the years. Ms. Kirstin’s background spans a wide range of disciplines, including dance, creative movement, public speaking foundations, storytelling, musical theater, and leadership development. Her teaching philosophy centers on meeting children where they are, honoring individual expression, and creating safe spaces where every child feels seen, heard, and celebrated. In addition to her educational work, Ms. Kirstin was a Klein High School Bearkadette and performed professionally as a Pro Cheerleader, Captain, Choreographer, and Director for organizations such as the Houston Aeros Hockey team and Texas Hurricanes Arena Football. These leadership roles strengthened her passion for mentorship, teamwork, and performance excellence—values she now instills in her students. Ms. Kirstin is also a liver transplant survivor and autoimmune disease warrior, a journey that deepened her commitment to purpose-driven work, balance, and community impact. As a mother, she understands firsthand the importance of programs that nurture children’s confidence while supporting families and schools. Through Mighty Kids Creative Arts, Ms. Kirstin combines her professional expertise, lived experience, and heart for youth to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that empower children to express themselves boldly and confidently. Ms. Kirstin can't wait to share her love and passion for the creative arts with all of you. : )

About Mighty Kids Creative Arts (MKCA)
Welcome to Mighty Kids Creative Arts, where creativity meets confidence! Located in the heart of Spring, Texas, we are a premier multidisciplinary youth studio dedicated to helping children discover the power of their unique voices through the arts.

We believe that arts education is about more than just learning a single skill—it’s about nurturing the whole child. By seamlessly integrating dance and movement, visual arts, storytelling, public speaking, and introductory debate, our unique curriculum challenges the mind, energizes the body, and sparks the imagination. Whether your child is stepping into a studio for the very first time or looking to sharpen their leadership skills, MKCA provides a safe, vibrant, and joyful space for them to grow.
Our Philosophy: Creativity Meets Confidence
Every child is born with an innate sense of wonder and creativity. Our mission is to protect that spark and channel it into lasting life skills. Through carefully designed, age-appropriate program tracks, we use the arts as a vehicle to teach teamwork, critical thinking, resilience, and focus. We aren't just teaching kids how to perform or create art; we are equipping them with the self-assurance to stand tall, speak clearly, and shine brightly in everything they do.
Why Choose MKCA?
A Multidisciplinary Approach: No need to choose between dance, art, or public speaking. Our unique tracks combine these elements to keep kids engaged and learning from multiple angles.
